
Marc has worked in the accounting industry for nearly 20 years. He began his career as an accounting specialist at a large international Biopharmaceutical company, giving Marc great experience and insight into the inner workings of a multi-million-dollar company. For the past 15 years, Marc has worked as an accountant and manager for a few Accounting Firms throughout southern New Hampshire. Marc has worked with a wide array of clients from businesses and individuals with high net-worth to small sole proprietors just striking out on their own.
In May 2015, Marc decided to go out on his own, establishing Marc Michaud & Associates. Marc provides his clients with great customer service, by taking the time to get to know his clients and their business so that he can better serve their individual needs. Marc strives to be more than just an accountant, but a true business consultant that can help his clients turn their vision into reality.
Marc holds a BS in Accounting and in Business Management both from Daniel Webster College. He is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent (EA). Enrolled Agents are federally licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation and who also have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Marc is a board member of New Hampshire Farms Market Association; a member of the NH Tax, Accountant Professionals and a member of the American Institute of Bookkeepers. Marc enjoys giving back and does so by providing accounting services to Corey’s Closet, Inc., a non-profit, in Hooksett, NH. Marc is a NH Notary and he is one of the only 4% of Boy Scouts who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. In his spare time, Marc enjoys gardening, playing golf and reading about history.

BUSINESS MANAGER
Kim joined Marc Michaud & Associates, as the Business Manager, in October 2018, bringing with her 20 years of diverse business experience. For the past 7 years, Kim has owned and operated a non-medical home care agency, where every day brought new challenges and learning opportunities. Prior to that Kim managed a woman’s retail store, worked in public relations and marketing for a large hi-tech company and has been a night-auditor for an Inn on Nantucket.
As the Business Manager for Marc Michaud & Associates, Kim is responsible for the day to day business functions, along with bookkeeping, human resource services and consulting for their clients. Kim’s broad business experience gives her a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities their clients face every day, making her a valuable resource to their clients.
Kim is a graduate of Salem State College where she earned a Bachelor’s in Communication, with a concentration in public relations. She also holds an Associate in Science with a major in business administration. Kim is a New Hampshire Notary. Kim lives in Hampton with her husband, Steve, they enjoy spending their free time checking out local microbreweries and vacationing with family in Bar Harbor, Maine.
